During the PADI Open Water Diver Course we will teach you all the necessary skills and knowledge needed to start your new hobby scuba diving in a safe and responsible way. It consists of various modules that include theory with a final test in self-study, and confined water training here in Gozo are the basis for the four open water dives, when you get the chance to apply your new skills. The Open Water Diver entitles you to dive to 18 metres maximum depth (12 m for students under the age of 15 - Junior Open Water Diver certification). All equipment needed during the course and transportation to the shore dive sites are included. The PADI certification fee and the digital PADI Open Water Diver materials have to be paid additionally. ​ After completion of this course the rental of diving equipment is free of charge for further dives with us during your holiday!

Nitrox, also known as Enriched Air, EANx or Safe Air, is a gas with an oxygen content above 21%. In scuba diving it is mainly used to reduce the proportion of nitrogen in the breathing gas mixture. Using a breathing gas with proportionally less nitrogen and an increase of oxygen reduces the risk of decompression sickness for the same dive profile. It can alternatively also be used to allow an extended dive time within the no decompression limit. ProNRC, formerly known under the name NRC, has become very well-known in the diving industry over the past 17 years, and has modernized Nitrox’s image over these past years. The ProNRC Nitrox training is thorough, easy to understand and is highly recommended to any diver!

The Scuba Diver certification is the first step into diving towards the Open Water Diver and is ideal for younger kids and everyone with little time. The course consists of dive theory, the learning of different skills above and under water as well as two open water dive to practice the newly acquired skills. After completion of the course you will be qualified to dive under the supervision of a dive professional and to a maximum depth of 12 metres. All equipment needed during the course, your first logbook and transportation to the shore dive sites are included.
